We are so glad you are here!
First Baptist Church in historic Winnsboro, SC, has a rich heritage of serving the Lord Jesus Christ and the people of Fairfield County. Striving to be a church that ministers across all generational lines, we would love to be your home to grow as a disciple of Jesus and experience vibrant worship with a loving family of faith. In the words of the Apostle Paul, we want to help you "hold firmly to the message of life" (Philippians 2:16a, HCSB).
The tithes and offerings of our church family help us in our mission to Worship, Serve, Grow. Thank you for your support. If you would like to give to the ministry of Winnsboro First Baptist Church, you may click on the donate button. You may make a single donation or set up recurring donations.

As a family of faith, we exist to...
"God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth" (John 4:24, HCSB). God created us to worship, but nothing frustrates us more than to arrive with worship on our hearts and leave with nothing. That's why we are striving to build a worship community that experiences all the rich feelings of prayer, praise, and celebration while also building up the Body of Christ with the truth of His word. Worship with us Sundays at 11:00 AM and Wednesdays at 6:30 PM.
"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18a HCSB). Jesus commanded us to go into the world and make disciples, not members. Accomplishing this means we have to gather believers into small groups where Bible study and real relationships take place. We are building the vision of a Bible Fellowship that will help every person relate to a Life Group where they can experience the growth we long for and need. Together we can grow up into spiritual maturity and face all of life's challenges with His spiritual strength.
Real believers cannot grow just to focus on themselves. Our ultimate fulfillment comes from giving ourselves away as Christ taught us to serve others. Within a network of Baptist churches that encompasses the world and over 180 nations, we share in Christ's mission through giving and personal involvement. Whether we are serving the local community or those in other parts of the world, we are equipping our people to share the gospel while meeting basic needs with the love of Christ. "Based on the gift each one has received, use it to serve others, as good managers of the varied grace of God" (1 Peter 4:10, HCSB).
